Georgian-born. Lives and works on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri People Naarm/Melbourne, Australia.

As an immigrant Georgian artist, I always feel a fine line in my practice between keeping my ethnic origin and adapting to the Western interpretation of my culture. Therefore, in many aspects, I feel responsible for enhancing awareness of the problems of reusing and deconstructing the historical and cultural heritage of minorities and ethnic groups in my practice.
